The team behind Meds Down Under
Lisa
Recruitment Manager
Born and raised in Sydney, Lisa attended St Mary’s Rosebank Ladies College before achieving a Diploma in Human Resources. With over 30 years of experience in recruitment, Lisa has owned her own company and managed over 2,000 staff. Her extensive background includes overseeing compliance training, auditing, company inductions, and structuring recruitment processes for various organizations. Prior to joining Meds Down Under, Lisa’s wealth of knowledge and expertise made her a leader in the HR field.
Lisa’s career includes 11 years of working in recruitment across Australia and New Zealand, where she played a pivotal role in sourcing talent from Canada, South Africa, and Asia. Her dedication extended to aiding the Christchurch earthquake rebuild by bringing skilled professionals into the region to support recovery efforts.
Outside of her professional life, Lisa is a proud Sydney Roosters supporter and loves spending time with her grandchildren.
Toni
Medical Professional/Recruitment Advisor
A Registered Nurse in New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines, Toni graduated with a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing and has gained experience in all clinical areas. Moving to NZ, she pursued a Diploma in Health Services Management and a Competency Assessment Programme.
Her 10 years of NZ experience included working with Ventilator-dependent clients with complex needs; an extensive experience as a CREST Case Manager, regularly liaising with CDHB and Service Coordination catering to ACC clients. She currently focuses on Workplace Health and Safety in Occupational Health Nursing with various certifications associated with the role; as well as an Authorized Vaccinator and NZQA Certified Workplace Drug tester.
Having previously worked with HR Recruitment and Staffing, Toni had practical experience with the Screening, On-boarding and Sourcing processes.
